Late Fee

I received a credit card statement today and checked how much we spent last month I saw the 39.00 late fees on our statement. I paid them late due to hurricane Ike. So, the late payment was $39.00 and that is extremely high. So, I called them this afternoon because I wasn't happy about it and I asked them if they could take the late fee off because of the Hurricane, so she said that she is going to take it off.

I hope she is going to do it if not I'll be wild (lol)They are supposed to understand that we paid them late because we don't have power here when the Hurricane Ike hit Houston.

I also paid late for our Home Insurance and I called them after the hurricane that I paid them late and they told me that it was okay they extend the due date for two weeks because of the hurricane..and I was very happy when I talked to them they understand our situation..

Some company's doesn't understand, they know the reason why people paid late and they still put late fee on your bill. (Doh-g0n-8)
