Eggroll/Lumpia

My friend Anna taught me how to cook eggroll. I love her eggroll/lumpia so I asked her to teach me. Last week we went to the Mall with my kids and then we stopped by at Hongkong Market (asian store) We bought eggroll ingredietns. The ingredients are: 2 package of Lumpia wrapper, 2 lbs. of pork meat, 2 pieces of big carrots, half cabbage, onions, garlic and knor chicken cubes. We cut them into small pieces. Anna cooked the pork meat and mixed all the engredients after the meat turned to brown. She just do half cooked. We let it cool for about 10-15 minutes before we wrapped it. I am not a big fan of eggroll before and now I love it. Other eggroll don't taste good but Anna did a good job on her lumpia. It tasted so good. We cooked the lumpia on my girls birthday party and everyone love it.

Not sleeping good

I have been sleepy lately. I didn't sleep good since Saturday. I went to bed around 12:30 Saturday but couldn't sleep. So, I decided to take sleep pills around 3am and I am so glad I fall asleep right away. I woke up around 9 in the morning because the baby was noisy and I want to sleep so bad but I can't because of the baby and I forced myself to get up also because we had to go to church. Hubby was trying to get me up.

Anyway, we got to church I was extremely sleepy. I felt like the medicine still in my head lol. Right now, I am so sleepy because I have been sleeping late and I need start sleeping early again.

Sleeping pills really help you if you can't sleep at night. I took the pills at 3am I should have took them earlier so I could sleep more.

Good to see my friends again

We had a great time this evening with friends and family. Jodel is really happy because she had a blast party this evening. Not just her but to Jolaine as well. When we sang the happy birthday song Jolaine was sleeping so she didn't blow the candle heheh anyway, it was so good to see my friends again. My friends are awesome they helped me cooked. That's why we got lots of foods..

I am so glad we have a new filipino restaurant nearby. We went there today and we really enjoyed their food. It is just 5 minutes away from our house. I am planning to order some foods for the upcoming birthday party. Their food is just so delicious and I love halo halo too.

Eating habit

Why do we eat when we are not hungry? I just asked my husband about it and he just laugh at me. Well, I don't really know why we are looking for foods when we are not hungry. It will just make us fat if we always eat even if we are not hungry. That's why people are now looking for the best fat burners to loose weight.

One reason that my husband gain weight is I always cook foods here and we got plenty of snacks. Hubby just couldn't resist eating snacks after eating dinner. It's his habit and it's a bad habit lol.

Cleaning flower beds

I was busy this afternoon cutting the branches of the roses at the front yard. I love roses but I hate the thorns it hurts my hands. I trim it all and it's now looking good at the front lol. So, I can't wait for the roses to grow back. They make flowers even in winter time. I also clean at patio. I want to continue to clean tomorrow morning.

Anyway, This afternoon when I was cleaning I saw a baby lizard and I catch it and put in a small container when Joey got home I showed it to him and then I let them watch the baby lizard then after couple of minutes Jodel was crying because Joey killed the baby lizard. I feel bad when I know that. I don't know why Joey killed it. I told him to not to kill it but he did :(

I am so tired this evening...

Fishing

My kids and his father went fishing today while me and my girls were playing at the park. Joey caught 3 fishes. He really enjoyed fishing. We had fun today. The weather is so nice. Jodel just lost her mermaid dolly at the park so, next time we are not going to bring any toys out there because every time she bring something she'll lost it it's not fun when u lost something.

Anyway, we got home today we had fun doing my son's homework. We decorated the pumpkin. The halloween stuffs..lol..
